ShareSite was launched on Monday 11 December 2000, and published a new edition every few weeks. It is entirely a work of fiction, and ShareSite strongly advises against investing in fictional stocks or shares.

ShareSite is a spoof financial news website – parodying the field as a whole rather than any particular publication – and is produced by Fadson, namely Nadia Fadhley and Brendan Nelson. It goes without saying that ShareSite pays its respects to Chris Morris and The Onion, as well as to the many financial news sites that we read every day.

For reasons of technical idiocy ShareSite was offline for the best part of a decade but has been revived in late 2013.
